"We loved that the hotel was just across the road from the train station. We arrived at night and had a room with a balcony overlooking Lake Como. The view in the morning was just awesome! All the staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke English. We went off season so there didn’t appear to be much open nearby apart from a restaurant next door but it was a beautiful location and perfect for what we needed. "

"It was up a hill a ways and a little hard to find. They had to turn on the heat for me. It wasn't very strong. Old radiator. Tv was tiny. Curtain would have been ineffective. They had storm shutters. That helped. Lots of road noise. Some guests left at 5 am. A little noisy. They wouldn't let you bring in outside food. "The location is perfect, right on Lake Como with a private beach. The room is good, bathroom a bit small but convenient. Nice balcony above the water. Because there is no restaurant at the hotel it would be handy to install a mini fridge and a coffee/tea maker. In the nearest village is a supermarket, MD, and everything is very cheap.
