"This was a super fun way to start our tour of Italy. It was fun to feel like we were part of the area, could interact with the people. Our hosts were so gracious and hospitable. We loved the area, being a little off the beaten path worked out great. There were still a few great restaurants and the best gelato we had in Italy was in Lierna! "The hotel view was amazing, probably one of the best in Lecco. The rooms were clean and AC was good. However, there was a lot of rules we didn’t know about, for example we weren’t able to use any glasses or things from the kitchen, and the pool was only open between 10-12 and 16-20. Also, the hotel was very far up and the bus didn’t go that often, so the hotel is probably more suitable if you have a car."
