"The property has much history and needs some repair but nice & clean. Our room was of a good size with large bathroom. We had an amazing view of the Arno river. At night you could all the lights around the river including the clock tower. We were conveniently just 15 minutes from the Pisa airport. It was an excellent one night stay"

"Close to train station, one mile to tower. Close to main shopping and good restaurants close by. Only thing we didn't like was the shower doors were tight, similar to an RV. Otherwise a good stay. Would suggest you have you own bathroom and get A/C, otherwise the city sounds may bother some. "

"What a hidden treasure. If you want an under the Tuscan sun moment this is the place. Super quant hotel in the hills overlooking a beautiful valley. The hotel has old world charm with some modern conveniences. Our room was large with a private balcony. The bathroom was nice, but there’s not a lot of counter space. The room was equipped with A/C which worked well. There’s a shallow pool on the property. The water was waist high, so perfect to cool off or hang out in the water and get a little...

"We were fortunate to stay in the lower villa which was fabulous. With its own outdoor garden space and furniture we could relax at any time of day or evening. Breakfast was very good with an excellent selection of continental foods as well as eggs, sausage and bacon. "

Lucca only about 8 minutes away by car. Will come back again! Breakfasts are the same every day which is a bit boring . We would like to have more options like a fruit salad / soft fruit and tomatoes and eggs to choose from. Other than that - lovely place to stay. Thank you all for looking after us .
