"Excellent stop off hotel for the Spanish / French border crossing, access from the motorway takes seconds, shops around the area are duty free, so stocking up on cigarettes or booze is easy, hotel itself is spotless, excellent staff, good breakfast, would have no hesitation in returning, actually started & ended our Euro trip with a night here. "Beautiful building with a gorgeous flowering almond tree on the front terrace. The sound of the Tech river from my balcony is magic. Excellent bed and linens. The breakfast is good (11 Euros) but the tea and coffee are awful due to the chlorinated water. "Ambient music" in the reception area, bar and dining room is annoying noise. Very friendly service."

"Over priced. Unfriendly staff (male cocasian with glasses) tried to overcharge for our 4 yr daughter. Facility showed in the website (eg indoor pool) costs 15 euro per person. Dinner courses comes with desserts bought in a supermarket (eg ice cream). Room is tiny and lacks facility such as a chair or sofa. Not worth the price. "

"The staff at the hotel were lovely, very helpful and friendly, it is very easy to find at the service station and there is a cafeteria there where you can eat, the swimming pool is also a nice plus, however, the rooms were very basic and looking a little worse for wear."

"Hotel has great facilities, but it has poor cleanness. we found, at least, 30 bugs inside our apartment. We had to remove the bugs several times as they coming out from somewhere we could not find. In addition, closest and other places in the rooms where not clean and smelly. We report the issues at check out as we checked in late afternoon, were going to stay for one night, and did not want to have other people coming into our apartment to clean."

"Els Cacadors was good and the staff was helpful. There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom that was unpleasant, but it wasn't a big deal--nothing dirty, just couldn't identify it. The hotel restaurant was excellent! Fabulous hiking area!."

"We stayed for 4 nights over the Easter weekend, watching the motorcycle trial in Sant Joan de les Abadesses and sight seeing in the process. I had been here once before for an afternoon and was very impressed and vowed to return. We had a room with tremendous views and the facilities were pristine. The food at breakfast time was second to none, a variety of continental and cooked breakfast choices. The staff were super helpful and made our stay memorable, a special mention to Ingrid who answered...
