"This is an older charming hotel situated next to the water that surrounds Lubeck. Because of the age of the building, there was no air conditioning. Our room got stuffy at night. We faced a busy street, so did not want traffic noise and kept the door to the balcony closed. I suspect it would be very warm in the heat of summer. But staff were very pleasant and accommodating. "A perfect stay in a beautiful city, location is perfect in a quiet neighbourhood and 2 minutes walk from the number 12 bus stop which takes you into the city. The lady owner speaks very good English and is a real character with a great sense of humour and this made our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was a quality buffet with cheese, hams, salami, salmon, yoghurts, jam, breads etc. and delicious coffee. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area."

They are very personable, outgoing, hospitable, and helpful, giving you tips on where to go and what to do, even where to park best. Their breakfast is healthy and plentiful. Rooms are super clean; not fancy but adequate, and bathrooms have a rather small shower and toilet space. If someone is a bit larger in size, they might want to consider this. Otherwise, this is a wonderful place to stay. Convenient...

"Away from old town center but walkable.... Reception was not staffed when I arrived, I had to wait until three people who clearly enjoyed their smoke decided to come back in... You have to lock yourself in your room, physical keys so God forbid there is a fire...they locked the front entry door by 7pm... Bed clean, lamps layered with dust you could physically see rise when the light came on... Breakfast and coffee good.... Ear plugs left by side table which I thought was nice and I realized why...

"Ein Aufenthalt im Hotel Strengliner Mühle ist ein Erlebnis. Ich war schon mehrmals im Hotel und war jedesmal zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und immer sauber. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, und abends gibt es auch ein gutes Essen im Restaurant. So bald man ins Hotel tritt merkt man die gute Stimmung. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend.
