"The property was not up to European standards, the balconies needed cleaning, with you moved the sofa there was dirt which had not been cleaned. The bed had the bottom sheet and two pillows, but no top pillow, and no matching quilt covers. There were blankets and cushions, which we used as extra pillows. My daughter slept in the sitting room and used blankets as under sheets. Mistmached towels, and not sufficient for three grown ups. In the kitchen, there was only two small knives , no cups...

"It was horrible, firstly no one opened the door as the old dear was shouting something from top floor in Arabic.... Finally got via old narrow stirs and didn’t understand why I was there and then she called Someone who was going to meet me. I decided to book elsewhere while I waited as it was dirty, dark and dingy. Came back for my bag after getting hotel across the road very nice and breathed a Sigh of relief."
