We visited various parts of the reservoir and really enjoyed seeing the area around. "We were in room six (I think), on the ground floor in the car park. It was a little noisy as the floorboards were very squeaky and there was a room above us. Also, there were no windows you could open and I like some fresh air. Finally on the downside, the bathroom door was very ill-fitting so was tricky to close and was in no way sound proof... "This is a lovely cosy B&B. The breakfast was brilliant (smoked salmon plus home made marmalade) and service excellent too. My room was very spacious, one small point - the bathroom was so hot, even though I turned off the towel rail socket the rail was still roasting. I can really recommend for business stays around Corby. I'd love to bring my wife here for a short stay to explore Rutland. "
