I had been here once before for an afternoon and was very impressed and vowed to return. We had a room with tremendous views and the facilities were pristine. "We loved our stay at Sala de Camós! Catalina and Goretti were excellent hosts- so friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were amazing. We just stayed for one dinner and it was very good. The location is fantastic for exploring the Gorratxa volcano park and nearby medieval villages as well as Girona and sea coast. "Over priced. Unfriendly staff (male cocasian with glasses) tried to overcharge for our 4 yr daughter. Facility showed in the website (eg indoor pool) costs 15 euro per person. Dinner courses comes with desserts bought in a supermarket (eg ice cream). Room is tiny and lacks facility such as a chair or sofa. Not worth the price. "

"The apartment exceeded our expectations; we were in the “Blue Room” on the first floor which had a huge balcony stretching round two sides of the building and looking over the pool. The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful and made us feel welcome. The private car park was a bonus. A very good base from which to explore Girona, about half an hour’s drive away through very attractive countryside."
