The surrounding area was quiet, especially at night so I was able to get a good nights rest. The only thing I didn’t like was navigating how to get to the hotel from the metro station. The directions were not straightforward when following google maps....

"Overall an acceptable hotel but some of the decoration is tired, could do with deep cleaniing. Daily cleaning was good by the staff. The breakfast items were very good, almost 'Full English' as opposed to continental. Could do with a new Toaster, one where the handle to push the bread down doesn't keep falling off!!! If visiting Paris again, I would use this hotel once more. Very close to a Metro Station which is always a bonus!"

"Hotel Marena was very centrally located in the Paris 9th Arrondissement. It was a very safe location. The hotel beds were comfortable. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We only had one slight issue and that was when the front desk girl tried to set us up to overpay for a taxi ride...$45 euros for a 6 minute ride to the train station...NOPE I'm not a dumb American.
