Arrived too early to check in, but hotel gave us the option to leave our luggage in a secure location if we wanted to explore area around hotel while waiting for room- which is what we did. Check in was easy, room was clean and beds were comfortable. The front desk and information desk were always helpful & friendly during stay. The breakfast was amazing! "Location, location, location. It could not be any better. Absolutely pay for a harbour view - that is what makes this hotel... Good breakfast - lots of choice. Loved the cake and coffee in the afternoon. We never had the evening meal so can't comment on that. Downsides - absolutely no storage in the rooms. We had a superior seaview - the cases were just on the floor and we had to step round them - you simply can't unpack anything. There is one rail with c 4 coat hangers and that is it. "

"Breakfast buffet spread was exquisitely presented/plated. Outdoor footwear must be removed in indoor areas. Car parking location was about a 100m walk but we were allowed to drive up to our block to offload/load our luggage. The outdoors is in total darkness and it was out there that we took photos of the Northern Lights. The only blip we experienced was our room heating being not adequately warm enough during our three nights stay there. The heating is manually adjusted by the boss on her iPad."

"We had a wonderful stay at St Elisabeth Hotel. Very modern, clean and warm. We loved the breakfasts in the panoramic restaurant, the free coffee/hot choc vending melachine. We had a late check-in and the system worked perfectly, as did the taxi collection service. We wanted the view of Tromso and the tranquility and enjoyed the short walk into the centre. "Our stay was great. The apartment was clean and modern. Very convenient to have a kitchenette and washing machine. The place is above a great bakery, several grocery stores and other restaurants nearby. A bus stop is right there as well. We thought it was a great value for what we got. Only problem was the check -in, we never received the key box code, but a staff member came out and got us the keys."

"The house is a bit outside town in a separate peaceful island. If you like more peaceful location, this is a good option. The town itself is easily reachable if you have a car. Multiple grocery stores are also nearby. The suite was well equipped and is suitable for two persons. The owner was also nice and we had easy communication with her of the practical accommodation matters. "
