"Location is good, the Lobby is warm and welcoming and staff were nice. For some reason the phone in the room did not work so we had to go to reception if we needed anything. Also there is a sign in the room that states they offer room service but they actually don’t. Not sure why they would make it look like that is an option. Overall they stay was good. "

"Great hotel! We enjoyed our stay for the Christmas markets. Located directly across the street from the main train station. Breakfast was amazing! We ate dinner at the hotel on Christmas Eve. It was delicious! Loved how the rooms are decorated. Beds were super comfy. "

"Great hotel! Adjoining restaurant was fabulous! We could walk everywhere we needed to go and the train station is just across the street! We didn't get to use the sauna but it was a nice addition! Very pleasant hotel with a great staff. I would definitely stay here again!"

"During the checkin we requested a crib, they told us it will be sent to our room shortly. After 30 min it came, but it had dirty linen. We took a picture of it and showed it to someone at the front desk who apologized and agreed to send us new crib linen. The next morning, we requested two bathrobes and one of them came wet. We asked the housekeeper to exchange it and he said he will bring us a new one, but never came. Briefly, the hotel service needs to be improved. "

"The Sofitel Munich is an impressive hotel in a historic building, offering a wonderful experience overall. The room was superb, combining comfort and elegance. The Isa Bar in the hotel is a true highlight—cozy, welcoming, and with a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. However, the restaurant was a disappointment. While the food was good, the ambiance was underwhelming—uninspired décor and a noisy environment that didn’t match the hotel’s five-star status....

"This is the perfect hotel for a stay in Munich. Close to the metro. Safe neighbourhood. Good restaurants close by. What we loved were the roomy suites. Perfect for a tall family. Storage. Beautiful bathrooms. Sweetest, funniest clerk at reception. The beds could be a little less firm but overall okay. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Munich. Loved it"
