"Overall the hotel was very nice! Specifically the restaurant which was always full with wonderful families and couples at German dinner time. We got to experience Oktoberfest. Food was fantastic. For the hotel being the only one in the area it was very nice. "

Booked for two guests but only one set of towel, comforter, pillow, and cup were provided. Breakfast is free but you get the quality that is "free". Internet connection is a joke. "The hotel is a very old fashioned place, frozen in time. Rooms were clean but small and the bathrooms were very tight. However, the breakfast was very good and the city of Monschau is a must see, very picturesque little city, just lovely. Just a warning, everything closes early. "

"Well I knew that I needed to keep my expectations lower due to the fact that this hotel is in a small village and the buildings are very old. We had the most basic room and it was VERY small. The bathroom could not be any smaller unless you have a cabin on a cruise ship. It was warm the week we were there and there is no air conditioning and the room was stuffy. Since the hotel has a pool in the basement, one of the reasons I chose this place, that was our saving grace to stay cool. The exercise...
