Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. The owners were incredibly friendly, sorted out some last minute euros for us and booked probably the best taxi service we’ve ever had! All the good reviews were spot on. "

On the downside, the hotel is a bit dated, but it is reflected in the price. No ac in the public rooms."

"This was our 3rd visit to the Hotel Island Blue, the last visit being June 2018, so we were really excited to return, and hoping not much had changed. As previously, the accommodation was fantastic and we were not disappointed. The cleaners do a brilliant job every day in the rooms and around the property, working really hard in the heat. Some sunbeds were being reserved before 8am. Not necessary when we went, and we were always able to get 2 together at any time of the day, and did mean...

"The room on the roof of the building was clean but tired. The view from the terrace was fantastic but at the time of our stay quite windy. The combination of the wind rattling the door and the nightclub music down the street all week made sleep very difficult. The pool picture in the advertisement is misleading as it belongs to the property next door. The pool at our hotel was much smaller with limited sun. Staff were always friendly and helpful."
