"From entrance to dining, the hotel exudes the decadence and flamboyance of a French colonial past. This hotel is truly luxurious and although a bit pricier for Vietnam it is so worth the extra for the lovely stay it gives. The swimming pool is so outstandingly lavish. By far the best pool we’ve ever swam in. The staff are very friendly and go beyond to make sure we were looked after. "

"Aliana is close yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main town (10 minute walk). The rooms were spacious with amazing views of the mountains (including Fansipan). "The property itself is well located in a quiet strip, and close enough to the center. The manager was nice and offered to upgrade my room for extra 400vnd but I refused due to the weather and there was no view anyway. The room I got was big and comfortable, and clean. The aircon didn’t work but I don’t need it. There were broken pots outside of my room and unfortunately, the landslide on the front of the property scared me so I couldn’t sleep. The pool was also closed due to the landslide....
