"This is the best place we've ever stayed. The location, relaxed atmosphere, incredible food and friendly staff make it a haven on a beautiful island. The villa rooms are beautifully simple and high end. There are so many spots to relax or spend hours in the sun in with two beaches to access. The standout is the food and drinks (cocktails in particular) on offer at Shantaa. We would come back and stay in a heartbeat. "

"We recently had an excellent stay at Captain Hook Resort. Nestled in a secluded spot away from other hotels, it offers a peaceful, green, and idyllic atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Whether you're into kayaking, snorkelling, or simply enjoying the usual beach activities, this hotel provides the ideal setting. "I saw this place on a you tube video and decided I wanted to book it for my trip to Koh Kut. Loved this for many reasons. Room looked right over a bay that went out to the sea. Breakfast had options. We chose fresh fruit. Got that and some toast each morning. Coffee was available with a machine to make your own if you want. This was right by Peter Pan Resort. We would walk out there and lay on the beach (no access to chairs) and swim. Sandy bottom and very shallow. You can get free use of kayaks here. We ate at Peter Pan for lunch or just got a drink there. Fire show here also every other night. Free! The woman who ran the White Bird was always helpful…renting a motorbike, making sure we got picked up for the ferry, adjusting our breakfast foods. Not lots of rooms here, so quieter. Easy to walk to shops, massage, or our favorite restaurant…Mermaid (get the fried snapper…one of my favorite meals of this trip!). Happy with this place and would recommend!"

"The staff were really nice and helpful. The only thing I had an issue with was the extra charges. For instance, there is a charge for ice and food to take away. If you break a glass 200 thb. Also the kayaks were at a cost ok no problem (even though I read they were free) but the paddleboards were expensive and they were in a pretty bad state…actually good for the bin as they were missing chunks and really not safe for use. Summing up I would still say this was a very good hotel to stay on the island. It was a perfect place in a bay to swim,snorkel,and relax"

"I was greeted by a very friendly staff and stayed in a very clean and modern bungalow located on one of the best beaches on the island , I would recommend it and will definitely be back ! Some the best snorkeling on the island is located at that beach and it’s a great beach for paddle boarding and swimming "

"The resort is very friendly while proving and relaxed and chill atmosphere. The staff are very accommodations to the guest ensuring a nice stay. The room had a nice view to the water and a small plunge pool which was very comfortable. Resort offers snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding right off the beach. Recommend for a smaller more intimate getaway while being family friendly. "

"We loved A La Koh Kood. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Robert was amazing. The food at the resort was so good. We loved th chicken cashew nut and the shrimp tempura. The room was clean and spacious. We used the main sitting area in our bungalow every night. The beach was stunning. The only negative would be the access road coming into the resort. It was a 10 min very bumpy uneven road. This is not the resorts fault though...the government is responsible for the road and doesnt fix it."
