"For the village, the accommodation is not too bad however the lighting in the room was poor and the door to the bathroom was broken. For 60$ it’s not value for money. It’s more like a 30$ place. Positives were the staff who were very kind and went above and beyond. Their food was also really good! Good breakfast totally worth it but I would not stay here again"

"For the price, and in Kisii, I would certainly recommend Dan's. It is safe, quiet and the staff is always ready to help make your stay more comfortable. The food in the restaurant is quite good. The breakfast buffet includes omelets made to your liking. We had a special request for a room to talk with some local people. The staff was very accomodating to our request on short notice."

"The guest arrived at the hotel and was informed that they did not have the reservation and they were already sold out. We had to make alternative arrangements for the guest to be hosted at a nearby hotel called Itibo Resort. The experience was very terrible and regrettable in view of the executive that was being hosted and the inconvenience caused."

"Basically nothing described online is real. No Wifi ever there, not 19m². Management horrible, disturbing me day and even night in a rude manner Photos either old or fake. Took 45 min to get my room as rooms had toilets that didn't flush or shower without water. Very noisy are with late night nightclubs over the street, followed by early morning loud church... The rooms are run down. All mosquito nets had huge visible holes. Just avoid. "
