Khao Lak is my new favorite Thailand destination to relax. With great activities, nearby, snorkeling, elephant, home and even surfing rentals. "We spent three amazing nights here and had a wonderful time. Our family had amazing food and enjoyed the pool. We spent our days doing all the activities recommended from the Inn. The staff was great! "

"This resort is the older style bungalow type. Yes, it’s a little dated, but is well kept and exactly what I wanted. Traditional Thai beach bungalows at a good price. Sheets were great, pool and grounds well kept by lots of staff. A great breakfast and lovely beach."

Not keen to provide information such as bus services and definitely quote higher taxi price to Patong - 2300B when WOW taxi online charge 1990B. Room is clean and basic. Cable TV has limited English programs. Restaurant hardly operating. Granny owner lady is however very kind but communicate only in Thai"

"This hotel has a heavy Chinese influenced design which I enjoy. It reminds me of the Shanghai Mansion in Bangkok’s Chinatown. The storage space in my room was the most I can recall seeing in any hotel. I travel relatively light but this room had enough storage for two people to live there. The shower was huge and had a bench seat which I know some friends with some disability issues that would appreciate that. The A/C was strong, the shower was hot. All the staff were very friendly and helpful....

"I really enjoyed our stay at the river lodge even though it was only for one night. It was very clean and each room was its own little bungalow in the jungle. We had glass sliding doors that overlooked the river. They provided plenty of water and the breakfast was good. They helping with booking of tours. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend."
