"We loved it! Only bad thing we have to say is we couldn’t stay another night because they were booked. Beautiful, safe, pools are relaxing and shaded for a break from the beach. Their beach is very limited but a block away there is easy access to a huge open beach. Highly recommend this hotel! We didn’t eat there so I can’t say how good the restaurant is but everything else was wonderful. "

"We had a pleasant stay, it is walkable to a lovely beach. The bathrooms could do with a little updating but the shower was nice. Staff we're friendly. Biggest disadvantage was the fact you had to spend 300 thai bhat one way to get into khao lak its definitely not walkable. On the plus side it was lovely quiet resort with nice food."

"Room was basic which was perfect for me. Everything worked (AC hot water etc). There is no shelf in bathroom but you can bring a stool in. Pool was pellucid. Neighborhood is quiet place does not look like much from front but better in back and is a bit hard to first find. Plenty of places to eat within 15 min walk The hostess was the best. She was friendly and helpful.Speak English well. I would stay again Room smelled a little musty when first opened. "

"I really enjoyed our stay at the river lodge even though it was only for one night. It was very clean and each room was its own little bungalow in the jungle. View from room from one window looks at a pond with runoff water from a bunch of buildings draining into it day and night. Ive been in Thailand for 4 months in the last year, its a fantastic place with wonderful people but I would not return here. "
