"Everything is perfect. The location of the hotel is also very close to the station and there is a convenience store nearby. The bus stop is also close, so it's good to go to Karato Market or Akama Shrine. Yume Tower can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. There is a hot spring inside the hotel, so you can enjoy the hot spring freely. Free ramen is served in the evening and many other services are provided for free. It is easy to get to Kokura by subway, and I think it is the best hotel to travel...

"I would give 6 stars if I could. The hotel room and lobby areas are spotless. Staff are also very helpful and attentive. Free breakfast was tasty and wonderful. You get to store your luggage for free for the day of check in and check out so you could go sightsee carefree. Amenities include PJs, coffee, tea, toiletries, etc. Overall very very satisfied with our stay. We also got a water view room so that was a bonus. "

I think there are only two twin rooms per floor, so we were across the corridor from each other which was convenient. Location is not great. While it's just across the road from Shimonoseki strait coastline, access to the shoreline is very limited by industrial areas. Also very limited dining options, outside the hotel's onsite dining room."

"Generally speaking, this hotel is very aged. For example, my Japanese toilet did not work. It flushed, but did not wash. The carpets are very worn, and entry is on the second floor, by stairs so carrying luggage is a chore. I did not have breakfast so no comment. Usual material supplied in the room was not (tooth brush, tooth paste, tea, etc.). Not recommended for seniors with mobility issues."
