"We made a booking for this place to discover they were overbooked and we left standing in the lobby clueless what was going on for 2 hours. The manager completely ignored us taking calls intentionally when we were trying to resolve the situation. They downgraded us to a standard and expected us to pay full price until we called them out on this blatant deception. "The site is superb with a wondeful view of the lake and beutiful hills. The manager was most friendly and helpful as were the rest of the stff. We had a two roomed spacious cottage which was clean , well furnished and with comfortable beds. It had a huge verandah overlooking the lake. The food was good but not otstanding and the bar was modestly stocked. Morning boat trip to Nyombe swamp was fabulous - great to set off in mist and see sun rising then clear- good birds to see in swamp area Food good and service excellent Intermittent electricity in room bit frustrating and need to run shower for 10 minutes before any hot water. Wi-Fi only in main reception / restaurant area "
