"The place exceeded our expectations. Lawrence is a first class host. The place is really quirky and well worth the money. Leeuwarden is just a fantastic base in the north of the country and we made a visit to one of the Wadden Islands with a two hour ferry journey which was splendid. "

"I enjoyed my stay very much, the staff of the hotel made my stay very enjoyable. Easy to communicate and super friendly! Only thing that was tough was the hotel did not offer any face towels, or wash rags. They only had a a bath towel and what I assumed was a floor mat towel. But outside of that the stay was perfect! Would definitely stay in this hotel again "

"Very nice hotel with a surprising good restaurant. The only confusing part was that they dont really have a check in desk. "This is a humble little place above a bar/restaurant. The bed was really nice, and the bathroom was squeaky clean, with good water pressure in the shower. There was a nice radiator that worked well and a shelf above it, that made it easy to dry things in the rainy season. That said, it is above a bar.
