"I stayed while on an overnight layover. Very easy to find the shuttle bus and buy ticket from vending machine. The driver also takes credit cards. Shuttle is overpriced, but the room was dirt cheap so I can’t complain. Wonderful breakfast was laid out starting at 4:00. Perfect for those with early flights. "

"The hotel was such good value. 24hr reception was great as we had been delayed so didn't arrive until 1am. The breakfast offering is huge, there's something for everyone. The rooms are a little tired, but the beds are incredibly comfortable. There are no kettles in the room but there's a coffee machine in the foyer (charged), and you can purchase cup noodles from reception and they will provide hot water."

"The rooms are quite small, for people with large suitcases. Other than that, they are minimal, which is good for creatives. I don't know what the leafy decor with the led lights is about; that could be improved."

"A very good stay at the Thon Hotel Slottsparken. The main reason for selecting the hotel was the availability to accommodate 3 adults (adult daughter still loves free holidays!) and the 'Business' room option worked our perfectly with plenty of room for us all. Location wise it was very close to the palace in a nice quiet area whilst also being less than a 10 minute walk to the centre of Oslo and the Nationaltheatret train station which has a direct link to the airport. "Good quality hotel in an excellent location for Oslo city centre and all that is on offer. It was a little strange that the check-in desk is also the bar! Further, there were times when the staff were busy elsewhere meaning both check-in and bar were unattended which was not completely satisfactory. However, all the staff were excellent and helpful. The hotel itself has character and the rooms and communal areas were clean & tidy. Breakfast was good with a varied choice of hot and cold food....
