"We have stayed at this accommodation on a number of occasions and will continue to do so if we return to Taupo. Our room had a great view of the lake. Our checkin was easy and quick. Reception staff were very professional and helpful. Easy walking distance to eating places"

"The place is fairly run down, but I understand new owners have just taken over. The reason we booked here is because it is pet friendly. A lot of motels in Taupo are not. We were only there to sleep, so on the whole the experience was not too bad. The place does some potential to be tidied up."

"Its a good distance from town and awesome spot for walking and safe. Reception is friendly. It's close to restaurant next door for food and a cold beer. Stayed here before."

"Stayed 6 nights solo, the hotel staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. My room 210 had its own balcony which I could see the lake from. Only a 10 minute walk into town, local museum etc. Unfortunately the fridge was not working properly but I'm sure easily fixed. The QS bed was comfortable and quiet later at night so slept well also. I'd stay here again for sure."

"The room was fantastic with plenty of parking. The only downside, which really wasnt too bad at all was that the bed was a little uncomfortable and the pillows were very uncomfortable and hard. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay."
