"Amazing landscaping and peaceful surroundings, good practical layout in house with nice art and comfy couches. Loved everything, except we found the mattresses extremely uncomfortable - a shame otherwise would be perfect! "

"We really enjoyed our sty here. It was very informal and a very unique property. Very friendly, and breakfast was pleasant. complementary charcuterie board was a really nice touch. Great location overlooking the lake from an outside balcony. Lots to see, float planes taking off, parachute planes and free fallers at a distance, boat trips etc can be seen going along the lake. Not too far from town though absolutely need a vehicle. Highly recommended "

"Nina and Peter's little Chalet was delightful. Bella and Rufus were the perfect cuddle buddies in the morning while Nina prepared breakfast. Would highly recommend a stay here. Easy access to Taupo area but out of the way and quiet!"

"As it turned out we were the only guests in the hotel during our stay so there was only the chef preparing our meals (included) and no other service was available. There was an intial hiccup with our TV and lack of hot water so we had to change rooms but playing a round on the Kinloch Golf course is well worth the trouble."
