"This hotel is well situated on the main road going through Helensburgh. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel also has a restaurant. Parking is free, in the large leisure centre car park across the road. The only negative for me was the hotel does not offer a cooked breakfast, which is surprising as it has a restaurant built into it. The continental breakfast appeared to be your average hotel continental breakfast. Staff were friendly."

"The staff were really friendly and helpful, we arrived early and were allowed to drop our suitcase at reception whilst we went into town. We were also allowed to do an early check in which was really great. The bed was super comfortable, I did have to ask for extra pillows and toilet roll but this was provided promptly. "This was an overnight stop from the Isle of Skye to the ferry at Cairnryan. No doubt the hotel is somewhat dated but what it made up for it with its great staff and lovely food (great pizzas for dinner and the full Scotch breakfast was perfect). Very dog friendly and has a few charging points for EV's. Nothing much else to do in Crainlarich unless you are going hiking. Would ahve no hesitation staying here again."
