"Great location, breakfast and helpful staff. You can find it right off the station. The hotel is located above a mall, with easy access to restaurants on the 4th floor. The breakfast was great! Lots of options and well worth the price. Hotel staff was helpful and even helped us fill out the mailing paper to ship our luggage to the next hotel. The public bath was smaller and much more crowded than expected but it did the job."

"Easily the best place I stayed in whilst in Japan. It’s a ryokan and yet it has full 5 star hotel features. I chose a room with a private outdoor Onsen bath and kaiseki dinner option. Room was huge (75sq/m) with a separate bedroom, living room and sitting area with a wood burner. I started the fire and sat there for hours in between my private lovely hot onsen. "Very very dated hotel. Hotel was a distance away from the train station so it was inconvenient to get to the hotel with luggage and then head back to the train station for meals and head back again. There was a musky smell in the room and the countertops were dusty. We borrowed a fan from the laundry room to use in the room just to circulate the air as the aircon is not working well (in addition to the smell).
