"We received a very warm welcome by the duty managers. They were very understanding when we requested a later check in as we were traveling all the way from Inverness. Nothing was a problem at all. We stayed for two nights and breakfast both mornings was amazing. Thoroughly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. We will definitely be back when we can. "

"The staff and food were fantastic. The hotel was being refurbished, but we were not informed about it, until we arrived. It involved, quite a convoluted detour around back stairs to get to our room, and those areas were very dusty. On the plus side, they did give a small discount as redress, but I felt it was still very overpriced for the stay."

"Thanks to Sure & Dave for being wonderful hosts. We enjoyed as a family and will definitely be coming back soon. We enjoyed the lovely walk, great hot breakfast (Thanks to the chef) with excellent coffee too. "Lovely hotel, staff were so friendly and attentive, check in was easy and parking was ample. The room was decorated beautifully and we were happy with the street view. Close to town, easy to walk around and go out for a drink or coffee nearby. I will say, the bathroom was disappointing - there was hair in the shower and it was dirty so that was a bit off putting. Also, the bed was two singles bolted together but the bolt at the head of the bed had fallen off so it separated during the night...

"This is the second time I have stayed at the County and will use it again on future trips. Simple setup, codes to main door and bedroom. The room was clean and comfy, well stocked with teas and coffees and overall perfect for my needs."

"I recently stayed at a lovely Inn nestled under the hills and was thoroughly impressed. The hospitality was outstanding, and the accommodation was spotless. "We stayed here for one night as we were stopping in Edinburgh on our way up to the highlands. The room was excellent and to a very high standard. Breakfast was fantastic and freshly made at a time of our choice, which was a unique but pleasant touch. Thank you for a great start to our holiday.
