He generously recommended a shop where i could buy delices - and took the trouble to drew me a map of how to get there the following morning. "Lovely hotel. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I felt a little put out at our treatment or lack of in the hotel restaurant. We were the only brits in a room full of Germans and French. Every single other table were brought a basket of bread whilst waiting for their food and given a free dessert at the end of their meal, even if they’d already had a dessert like we had. It unfortunately marred my stay a little. "

"The Josephine room was amazing. We booked it for a week over Christmas with the goal of having a place where we could hunker down and cook a nice meal on the 24th and 25th. The place was perfect. It's a short walk into town and the Christmas market, or you can walk along the canal, or even head into the hills for a hike which we took advantage of on a couple occasions. It's also a quick walk to the train station which provides easy access to the wonders of Strasbourg. Laurent was friendly and...

"Comfortable and great accommodations for the area. Ample parking in the back. Rooms are well appointed with very firm beds. Staff are excellent."

"Rustic Hotel, with reasonable charm. Food good. Wifi was so weak as to be unusable all the time I was there. The signal was fine, but it seemed that everyone else in the hotel must have been watching videos. It isn't free wifi, if you cannot use it!"
