"Good hotel and pool, beach across the road. If you wish to get a sunbed at the beach, go early, as there aren’t many beds. Friday food is the best of the week. Cocktails after 6pm are really good. On the downside, the hotel is a bit dated, but it is reflected in the price. No ac in the public rooms."

"We stayed here for a 4 nights mainly for the convenience of meeting friends also staying locally to Falariki, and for day excusions. The hotel was basic and our room was how we expected considering the price, but felt very dated and in need of renovation. Our shower was pretty poor and within a tiny bath so didn't have much space to move. "Such a lovely, family run hotel. So much more personal and quiet compared to the bigger, 4 & 5 star hotels. We were really glad we picked the Caravel. Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. The owners were incredibly friendly, sorted out some last minute euros for us and booked probably the best taxi service we’ve ever had! All the good reviews were spot on. "

"The hotel itself was a bit outdated, the elevator was very small, and the beds weren’t the most comfortable BUT that staff was really friendly which I appreciated. There’s a small market connected to the hotel which was convenient and as soon as you walk out of the hotel you’re at the beach and close to several restaurants. The hotel is located in bar road basically which we didn’t mind but if you don’t like noise then don’t stay here. "

"This property is centrally located near the beach and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was amazing!!!! The staff went out of their way to make you happy and meet your needs."

"Very poor quality food, limited choices, poor housekeeping, in our 10 day stay, our sheets were changed once, the room was not cleaned at all. The pool dirty/cloudy and constantly full of bugs, and was generally in bad condition with broken lights, tiles (with sharp edges) and plagued with ants. Drinks were the usually cheap all inclusive type, and frequently some types were out of stock. Staff were generally friendly and pleasant though. Would not stay again."
