"We absolutely loved this hotel. The decor is beautiful the whole place has a lovely homely, country feel, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and it’s immaculate. Our room was gorgeous with lovely touches like home made biscuits a luxurious bed waiting for us and our dog along with bowls and treats for her. Toiletries were really nice, made with essential oils. Amazing food too and we felt very welcome! "

"I stayed overnight and met with friends so my experience was only related to the bedroom and the following mornings breakfast. Staff are incredibly friendly and very welcoming and the room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. Was very tasty and well cooked and the service was prompt and delivered with a smile. " The cottages housing the rooms are small but well designed. They are near the road but this is very quiet at night. The golf course looked in very good condition and though we didn't play it on this occasion, we will play next time we visit."

"Just come home from a short stay with my daughter at The Royal Hotel. We were upgraded to a lovely suite when we arrived. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.The room was amazing and very clean. I had the best night sleep. There was a kettle in the room, along with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, which My daughter loved. We dined in the restaurant at dinner time. The food was lovely. So much to choose from. We also had breakfast which I cannot fault. The staff that served us were very friendly and worked really hard. There was a little car park opposite the hotel which was free. There were quite a few spaces when we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay even though it was very short. We will def return to the hotel in the future. "

"Good for coastal path walking. The 95 bus stops nearby and goes to Bude, Crackington Haven, Tintagel, Port Isaac and Polzeath. The single room is fine though small and includes a kettle, tea and coffee. The pub breakfast is good. Parking isn't guaranteed but people are continuously leaving."
