"It was a good place to stay - Large room and accomodationg staff. It was for a stop over so did not use the hotel for full potentia. Had breakfast at the restaurant and definitelt differewnt than Canadian standards but we are in a different country to when in Rome."

The location was too far from everything, and the cleaning service was minimal, only arranging the bed and changing the towels. I requested that the bottles in the bathroom be refilled, but that was not done."

Good alternative to van der walk which is right across the road but 30% costlier Bastion has big comfortable rooms and spacious bathrooms. Food was good at the restaurant. "Great location in walking distance of many city attractions. Very helpful staff. The room was big and comfortable. Only downside was the shower, which is in the room. It had semi see through glass. If you're traveling with friends and you're not comfortable being exposed, it can be tricky. We managed by taking turns in the shower while the other person went to the lobby/hangout area. Otherwise the place was great. Clean, comfortable, and it has luggage storage before and after check in/ out. "
