They offer a set menu which comes out to $60 usd per person (even children). After reading other reviews, we decided to try it expecting something really amazing and Icelandic. While the food we received tasted good and there was nothing inherently wrong with it, we were absolutely shocked at the price...

Even though there wasn’t an on-site office, we had an issue in our room and they showed up within 5 minutes of reaching out about it. Was a great location for seeing the northern lights, we actually drove down the road a mile or two and sat by a waterfall and watched it. The morning breakfast was great. Overall, the setup is very basic, but it was a good value. We would stay again. "

"The cabin was great. It was definitely a home away from home. We got to pet the horses and were able to see the northern lights on a clear day. The only con I have is that our beds were on the softer side and lumpy but it didn’t factor in my rating. My advice is definitely come before sundown because the roads are dark and road is somewhat rocky. Also, get your snacks and/or food before you come cause it a decent drive to find something and most of the stores close early"
