The whole property is well kept and the grounds are well manicured They’ve thought of everything you need. The bed/ pillows and blankets are so comfortable and such high quality we had a good sleep. Would come back here the 3rd time! I’d suggest to have some lighting by the bbq area. "

"Incorrectly booked another hotel for the wrong night. Cora took us in last minute and was gracious to all of us, even making up a second bed last minute and bringing milk for evening tea. The kids enjoyed the large projection screen and the swingset outside. We couldn't get enough of the view and the beautiful decor. Very well kept and loved by the owner. Centrally located in Campbellford meant restaurants and stores were all within walking distance: grocery store, coffee shop, bakery and farmers market just a few steps away. The view from the rooftop terrace was great. Riverview and lovely sunset over the trees across the river. Great bathroom, bedroom and living area. Kitchen was great except that we couldn't find a pair of scissors and there wasn't a microwave (but there was a stove for making...

"Although the staff we encountered were fine and the lake view is beautiful, the condition of the "cottage" we stayed in was terrible. It had not been renovated and apparently not recently occupied. It had cobwebs, spiders and bugs (some should be expected given its location) and the walls and floor were quite dirty. The rate was what would be expected at a five-star resort, which this is not. "
