"This is a country inn, so the front desk is basically unstaffed, until someone notices that you’re there. This, both when checking in and checking out, we had to walk around and find someone to assist us. We were there on one of the hottest summer days on record. The building has no air conditioning (not even a fan), and our West-facing room was very hot. "Sleepy, off the beaten track, great location. Slight language barrier, but using some German and 'sign language' helped. Staff were very distant, but our stay was still a success. Hotel room was fine, bed was good, breakfast was a bit limited but still perfectly adequate. Eating breakfast with a huge wild boar skin on the wall was great!"
