"I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location was very nice as it was along the Camino trail and some view of water. I was greeted by a nice front desk clerk. I asked for hot tea and was provided some to take to my room. "

"Great location. If you want to walk, this is the place to do it. Beautiful and historic. Very clean but bed very uncomfortable. We also had little or no service during our 8 night stay. We had to find clean sheets and towels midway through our stay and change our on linens. If you don’t mind doing this, you’ll be okay. If you want service during your stay this place won’t make you happy. But again, locates phenomenal!"

"Decent room and breakfast. Free hot drinks available all day, in the reception area. Limited parking and check if there is a football match being played when you are staying. The Famalicao ground is across the road so you may struggle to park nearby if there is a match on."

"we did late-check-in. but the way that pass the key was really irresponsible and NOT safe, I think. I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. "

"I enjoyed my stay at the hotel especially the ability to easily get fresh water and coffee in the lobby. Also the hotel is next to a huge supermarket. The room is basic but that’s all one needs if touring. "

"The AC never got cold even on the lowest setting. On the main area there was a strong smell, like garbage and it was there for over a day even though they came to clean the room, no one bothered to empty the trash, the smell was so bad it came into our room. The hotel is in a good area, we felt safe but far from the touristy area and the walk to the train station was long, it was hard to get UBER there so we had to walk several times. "

"Great place, short walk to most things including the beach, very clean modern hotel. The only minor niggle are the pillows, we found them very lumpy and uncomfortable but this is very subjective. Overall still 5/5 for us as it was a great place to stay for our visit."
