"This property is modern in facility considering its a cabin style lodging which skiers and snow fanatics will appreciate. The location is in Grindewald close to the Terminal station. The place is well kept and very clean. The staffs were all friendly and helpful. Our stay includes free breakfast. This property has nice views of both the villages and the mountains. "We loved our time at stockalpenhof, from the minute we walked in the door we were welcomed by a very friendly lady, who made us feel welcome, showed us the ski/ bike room for our skis and gave us our discount card for the region which we used at the thermal bath in a near by town and the ice cream shop right next door, we would return and recommended to our friends, a very easy walk from the trainstation up bahanhofstrasse."

"I booked 8 months out a single room for a solo trip! Cute room, but was a little bummed about a twin bed and room with a partial view from under the roof; but all was good. The main view from the hotel lobby/restraunt made up for it! No shuttle to the hotel so had to get a cab because I didn’t get a bus card until I checked in. Otherwise the staff was very nice and helpful! Hotel food was great! Would recommend! "
