She was adamant I needed to pay £20 Even though the room was ready. which was a bit steep. So obviously I didn't take. When I came back in the evening she was very busy and had to keep people waiting in order to sort my room. Lot less hassle if she had just given me my room. "

"Unusual and quirky room.Decorated really well.Above a pub but quiet. Only quibble, no one around when checking out as pub closed at 10 am.No instructions where to leave the keys.Had to leave them in the door lock."

"Very friendly helpful staff, room was smaller than expected but was fine for what we needed. Only down side was the phone screen in the room kept turning on about every 30 mins or so in the night hence lighting up the whole room. Breakfast excellent."

"Nervous to visit after reading reviews. However, there is a lot of refurbishment going on. The downstairs looks fabulous and the car park/outside space is being worked on. The room was ropey, window held open with a block of wood and a pane of glass missing. Curtains not hanging correctly and a socket out. But, we arrived when they were busy and so checking in was delayed. The staff apologised for wait, and the room! The breakfast was absolutely banging and the staff were exceptional. Helpful...
