"We loved that the hotel was so close to shopping and restaurants. It was very clean and cozy. The staff was very friendly! The only thing i would recommend for the room is a chair and side table/desk. The only furniture was the bed."

"The hotel’s location in the center of the town is excellent. The restaurant and bar area has a lovely ambience, but food is a little expensive. Our room was basicit was the cheapest, but it was clean and perfectly adequate. If we came again, we would bring a hairdryer the one that was there was virtually useless, and the plugs are on the opposite side from the bed so an extension lead would be useful if you want to have the phone charging by your bed. "Advertised as 4 star, but inside room evac.plan says 3 star . In reality a 3 star bar and restaurant and 2 star rooms. Rooms tired, i.e. walls dirty, wallpaper peeling, furnishings old, badly scratched, cobwebs, broken window fastening, mould in bathroom, shower eithef too hot or cold, toiletries (only soap dispenser) cheap. Bar closed before 2200hrs (staff said as only 4 customers it was pointless staying open) and would only offer beer, wine or tea after 2145hrs. When we made comment to...

"Good hotel about a 15 minute walk from town centre. Staff are friendly. Good value. A bit of road noise, but there are rooms on the other side of hotel which will be quieter. Amble parking and easy access. This is my 2nd time I've stayed and would recommend."
