"The check in process was not smooth where I have to sit and explain to them about the process with me booking via third party. I wasn’t even aware that they wanted a deposit because if I knew that, I wouldn’t booked this because I did not have that option with the other hotels booking through there. "The staff at the hotel were wonderful and the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The problem, however, was checking in - Hotels.com had a "block" on the virtual credit card and there was no good way to contact Hotels.com for help. We had a concert to get to, yet we were in the lobby for nearly 20 minutes trying to "unlock" the virtual credit card so that we could check in. It was very frustrating to not be able to readily contact Hotels.com for help. All the ridiculous "chats"...
