"This is a nice hotel that is close to the main square without being too close. The free parking is only free at night and on holidays. It doesn’t have an elevator and the bathroom in our room was in a separate area from the toilet. The staff person was friendly but it was inconvenient to have to wait until 6pm to check in. The bed was comfortable, though, the room was clean and it had a small fridge."

"This converted 18th-century home was the perfect stay for my family. Rooms were beautiful and clean, and the bathroom was a good size. Our room was on the 2nd level, which made me concerned about the street noise, but the area was so quiet and peaceful we slept with ease. We will be back to stay the next time we are in Rocheforte. "We really liked the sites as it was convenient to get to La Rochelle and Rochefort. Fouras is a great town with lots going on; nice selection of restaurants. The pool was nice but people were not following the rules of no vaping aloud (maybe more/clearer signs or staff mentioning it to visitors would help). The bathroom was a bit smelly at the start but with ventilation that improved (there were no shelves in the shower area so that was not practical). We had plenty of towels and it was great...
