We expected from the two star rating that it would be basic but all the fixtures and fittings were of a good quality and generally it was a pleasure to stay here. "Staff very attentive and friendly in lounge/restaurant at night and at breakfast following morning. Plenty to do in Tubercurry including a theatre. The car park is at the back of property so you have to come in a back door and go all the way through breakfast room and lounge to get to reception. No heating on in room when we arrived and took a while to heat but was lovely and cosy then. Double bed ok for one but not so comfortable for two. Pillows were good tho. "

"We had a serene and relaxing visit at Hillcrest B&B. Noeleen is a wonderful host and gave us wonderful suggestions where to visit and hike in Yeats Country and beyond! Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, and our daily breakfast was complete with farm fresh eggs, pancakes, porridge and pastries. We so enjoyed being part of a working farm, and the views of Lough Arrow were nothing short of stunning, especially at sunset. Thank you again, Noeleen and Kieran for a lovely time, and we will surely be back again for another visit!"
