"I loved the Blue Cottage. Peaceful, calming and away from everywhere. It was exactly what I needed as I was recovering from 6 months of chemo. Teddy, my male Lhasa Apso, fell in love with the white Shetland pony. He would run to her when he went out and lick her mouth. She wasn’t sure what to make of it at the beginning, but eventually joined in. So funny watching the pair of them. Sasha wasn’t so interested. We had a slight problem the first night; the electricity went off, probably affected by the severe storm the day before. Sean very kindly brought me candles, wood and turf for the fire and make sure everything was okay. I felt very well looked after and certainly would recommend it to anyone else. I was sorry to leave."

"Check-in was slow because a huge party arrived at the same time; but in all other respects the staff were very helpful. The bar food and the breakfast both good, nice big room with bath and shower, and central location, close to the station and with a big car park. Excellent value."

"This is my first time live in guesthouse. Excellent experience, nice and friendly people. Good Irish breakfast. Bigger room, clean bed and towels. They had everything you need. If you looking for room or bed to stay , you can try. You would love it. "

"Location was perfect for this hotel. We had a lovely room with multiple beds as well as a kitchen/living room area that was separate. Very clean and quiet. The front desk people (owners, I believe) were extremely nice to my mother and I while we were staying there."

"This was fantastic! It’s a bit off the road on a farm which we really appreciate. The room was comfy and our hostess was the bestest, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. The common room was large and comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer. And the food at McDermott’s Pub was really good."
