"The menu has plenty of variety and the food is delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the bar and dining room are pleasant settings to sit in."

"Loads of parking and friendly very comfortable hotel. Rooms large with tea/coffee facilities in room. Bathroom had a large deep bath and a separate shower. Lovely view over the golf course. Reception very friendly but staff in restaurant not fully attentive had had to go and get menus myself even though we had been seated 10 mins earlier. Food itself was fantastic. Morning breakfast staff really attentive and food selections and quality very good. Overall a lovely hotel. "

"It was such a lovely little place to find in Truro and was greeted by a very kind lady who walked me to my room, asked me how my journey was and explained everything I needed. It was as simple as needing to remember to take a set of keys with me when I left. The bedroom was immaculate with fresh linen, two bedside tables with lamps, chairs with a little table and a decent tv! The bed was so comfortable to sleep on and I slept better than I thought! There was little chocolates and fresh towels...

"Perfect place to stay for a romantic visit to Cornwall. Right by the sea and coast path. A traditional English country pub. Excellent food and a very well stocked bar with local beers, wines and spirits. Quaint, clean rooms with all the amenities. Every staff member we encountered was really friendly and helpful. "Room was cold ..no radiator just a small electric fan heater ...location is good ..very good views of the coast ...breakfast was not included in the price either ...building in need of a lick of paint but otherwise enjoyed our stay...friendly staff too ."
