"As noted by every other reviewer, the hotel might benefit from an update. But it is also possible the 80s vibe is completely intentional and something they are happy to keep! Every person from the staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and I was very happy to find they had blackout blinds. "Family stayed for two nights. Staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Alberto the "Captain" of Hotel Poseidon whose hospitality was excellent. The Hotel is just steps from the beach. The breakfast was very good (overlooking the outdoor pool). We had a maintenance issue with the stove in our unit and it was promptly fixed. Air conditioning was excellent. The building and facilities are older, but clean and well-maintained. There is a 24-hour grocery store a few minutes' walk from the hotel....

"The staff were very kind and helpful at this hotel. It was not far from the historic center. It was very close to the beach and an easy walk to pretty much everywhere. It is a small town making it nice to visit the area. Overall, it was a good experience at the hotel. They provided free parking for our car and communicated very well for us."
