"We arrived late at night to the hotel, reception was closed but the owner had left an envelope with everything we needed for our stay with a warm handwritten note (including instructions to get a beer from the fridge!) The room was clean and spacious, the property well maintained, and breakfast next morning delicious. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This review is split into 2 parts.. we shall start with the positives. Food here was lovely and the waiting staff were helpful and responsive even with our very limited German. "The customer service at this hotel was terrible! To simplify to a couple words "They didn't give a s***". 1. There is a boat that goes from mainland to the island where the hotel is. The boat does not run if there are thunderstorms. No one from the hotel notified us about this and told us that the boat is NOT running now and we can not get to the hotel tonight. We were lucky enough to walk down to the dock and the boat was thankfully still running. BUT if the boat had not been we would've had...
