"The view from our room was undersold! Great view of the river. That said, there were sizable gaps around the doors, so it was a very good thing the group there was not noisy, or I could have had a grumpy tired hubby. There also seemed to be some kind of family reunion taking place in the common areas, so we felt a little awkward about being there for a lot of our stay."

Despite the property listing indicating that air conditioning was available, there was none when we arrived. "This is a beautiful homestead that has the feel of 1940's but the esthetics of a modern home. Perfection. The cows, chickens and ancient trees surrounding the property add to its charm. "The bed was to soft, creaky sounding bed. Not comfortable. Everything else in the house was excellent. There was a dog next door that barked the entire first night. Nice deck. Comfy chairs.
