"Beautiful boutique hotel with great views, walking to attractions and town within 5 minutes, amazing breakfast and service. Rarely you get breakfast made to order with freshly baked basket of bread, and freshly sweets juice as most hotels let alone a boutique premise. I have to do zoom meetings and the Wi-Fi is blazing fast ( It was during off season so I am probably the few guests at the time). "We absolutely loved this place. Friendly staff. Convenient to walking into Sintra. Quuaint. Big room that led out to the garden area. Cons: lots of stairs. If you are immobile or have a hard time with stairs I'd suggest a room on main floor. Our room was on bottom floor and smelled a little musty."

"Great location close to the old town. The property is unique that it was an aristocrat retreat converted to hotel. The hotel is gated and only accessible with code. The problem we ran into was the hotel wasn’t well integrated with Expedia’s message system. The checkin instruction with entry code never got to us from Expedia message feature or email. We had to call the hotel at the gate to gain entry as the door well doesn’t work."

"The staff are extremely pleasant, helpful, friendly and kind. They were very informative and helped us make reservations. Fillipa is the greatest! The location has parking and is convenient for walking into Sintra and to the castles. Our room and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in our room was one of the best experiences!"
