"The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the train station which is very handy for those who don't want to stay in Manchester city centre. It's lovely and quiet. Our room was very warm even with heating off and the fan on, I think the pool could've been a little warmer and to provide cups for the fresh water fountain. "Cheap and cheerful, the bed was ridiculously soft and the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Room was initially set up for 1 person (1 towel, glass, milk etc) and reception staff wouldn’t accept this to begin with, however we returned from a night out to find a mountain of towels and a dairy farm’s worth of milk. Good breakfast and cheerful staff. Would stay again. "
