"A handily-located, friendly hotel with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast, with a variety of hot dishes cooked to order. Big fluffy towels and adjustable shower are nice touches. It's located in the town centre, a very short walk from the station, so useful if going on trips to Kyle or the Far North. Also handy if you’re a football fan as Ross County's ground close-by. "It’s a lovely hotel - all the rooms are large and didn’t feel at all crowded, even in the bar which was quite busy in the evenings. Bedroom was very large and comfortable, with a nice en-suite shower room. A very good breakfast was provided with lots of choice. My only negative is that it is pretty expensive - although we stayed as a ‘treat’ at the end of a touring holiday in the Highlands and it was very nice! 😃"

"This would actually be a review of the Morangie Hotel in Tain. We were informed just a few weeks before our trip that they have repairs that needed to be done in the Mansfield hotel and that they transferred us to another hotel without an offer of a refund. The Morangie Hotel was a nice looking manor and had lovely stag head and Jacobite sword memerobilia. However shrouded in tacky halloween decorations and buckets laid about to catch leaks around the hotel. It wasn’t the stay we were expecting....

"The property was fine - clean with good breakfast. But we were thinking it was closer to Inverness. That was our own fault I suppose since we looked it up. It was not close enough to "run into town for dinner." The location is peaceful but far from a town. It reminded me of midwest US with farms and wheatfields surrounding. The closest town was Nairn where we found a good place to eat dinner. But if you are looking for a location from which to explore Inverness, this is not the place."

"Our stay at Netherton Guest House was amazing. We loved the quaint and beautiful atmosphere of the place. The rooms were spacious with the most comfortable bed of our entire vacation. It had beautiful antique furniture, was extremely clean and very quiet. It also had a spectacular view from our windows. The breakfast was exceptional and I really enjoyed Romay the proprietor."
