You got great area, fantastic dining, the bar, the pool table, squash, gym, zumba, sauna and so much more. Nice area. "Lovely hotel, old, cosy and quaint. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Parking at the back was a bonus ( note, a little sign would help, missed it the first time and had to go around again). Great breakfast to start the day. "

"I stayed here recently on a short break in Lincoln. It’s well located in a quiet area very near the castle. The staff were absolutely lovely - friendly and helpful. Stokes cafe and a great tapas restaurant are just across the courtyard and there’s a large pay and display car park behind the hotel if you drive. The hotel is very attractive and is gradually getting investment. My room was one that has already been renovated and was of a great standard. My only criticism would be that the mattress...

"Staed one night. Greeted at reception by a lovely lady. Very informative and friendly. Room 14 was a bit dated and tired. Bed not that comfortable but huge ! Pillows ok but one too little and 2 too much. Did not sleep well. Could hear every noise from people next door. Paintwork throughout hotel could do with a refresh. Carpets very worn in places. Service and food in restaurant was very good even though they were busy."
