The apartment was warm, comfortable; the shower piping hot and the wifi signal strong. Plenty of parking space and a short walk to bars and restaurants. "We actually got moved to the Norseman Hotel as We felt the approach to the property was not the best as loads of pot holes in the road. The property looked like it had been a nursing home, it needed some landscaping outside we felt the security was not good as the main door which was not signposted was open and the room that we were given was unlocked and the door looked like it had had a letter box which was boarded up. "Quite an unusual experience for me, eating dinner with the owners, chef and others guests, then relaxing in the sitting room as opposed to spending the evening sat on my bed like a usual B&B. It really made it an enjoyable stay. Everyone was lovely, food was delicious."

"Our stay was great. We were delayed into town due to a canceled flight but Callum was there when we arrived and promptly showed us to our room. Our room was clean and sufficient for our needs. The area is good for walking around Wick. We didn’t have a chance to have a drink in the bar as it was closed the two evenings we were there. I would recommend and we plan to return again "

"This property was chartered in 1899, and offers an authentic experience. But that is not necessarily a bad thing! Yes, the room was tiny... basically a twin bed and a sink and not much more. But the shared bathroom was fine. Very clean and up to others I have had the enjoyment of sharing. Breakfast (to order) was quite good, but the real draw here is the attached pub, which offered many a fine night of drinking a pint with locals and listening to their stories, and the excellent food.
